About The Victoria

Having bought and refurbished The Victoria in early 2022, owners Khan and Malinka were in need of a new website to reflect their brand-spanking new look – and to attract a host of new customers.

Having previously used KAYBE’s web design services for their KM Group website, they knew they wanted to choose us again to create a site for The Victoria. Obviously, we think it looks incredible – but, we’re not the only ones. Here’s what the owners had to say about their new site and their experience with KAYBE.

The challenge

The Victoria needed a fully functional, interactive website that would allow people to book online directly within their booking system and see their menus and opening hours.

A lot of people don’t like to talk on the phone any more – they prefer to book through a website, so having the booking integration from their booking tool online was important to Malinka and Khan.

The solution

Most of The Victoria’s bookings are now coming through the booking portal directly from the website, to make it easier for us and for customers.

To introduce the new look and feel of The Victoria online, KAYBE ran and managed a sponsored ads campaign for The Victoria on Facebook, and a lot of people have been coming in off the back of those ads. Khan and Malinka said, they can’t rely on people to just assume that the pub is better now since its refurbishment, as, being just slightly out of town, they don’t have the footfall. That’s why building a new website and driving traffic through ads has been essential in attracting new guests.

"We’ve had great feedback from customers, colleagues and people we know, saying it’s a really modern, interactive site."
We’ve already recommended KAYBE to several people and shown them our website. We’re really happy with it.

Let's talk results

Malinka and Khan say, it’s definitely been a journey for them, and they don’t think a site can just be handed over once the design’s been done; it’s an evolving beast. With constant changes to the menu and upcoming events, they don’t think you could have a provider that hands it straight over and says ‘thank you very much’. It has to be an evolving process, and the simplicity to change menus and announce events is incredible: they just drop a WhatsApp message to the team here at KAYBE and changes are implemented for them on the go. This makes the website management for Malinka, Khan and the rest of The Victoria team incredibly easy.
