The Bottom of the Funnel (BOFU) is the most valuable part of the funnel. This is the stage of the process before qualifying the lead as an MQL. The users here would expect to be presented with a needs-payoff and would be at the point in the sales cycle where it would be the right point to lead with product communications and collateral.
If you were scoring your funnel on a scale of 0 to 100, you would expect these leads to have between 71 and 99 points. This is the most critical stage to ensure that leads aren’t left too long between marcoms in order to prevent drop-off and to ensure that the conversion rate is as high as possible.
